Fisher Grove: 01001000 01101001=”Hi” 2.1

Greetings all and welcome to my attempt at blogging. I’m more of a tech guy myself, but I don’t trust anyone else (especially my sisters-love you both!) to write my story but me, so here I am… This pic was taken right after Mom passed. My twin sister, Hazel, encouraged me to “express myself” through something other than programming. She even convinced me to part with my glasses for this shot! It’s not for me though… heh. >.> I moved into my own tiny, modern home, which suites me perfectly! (“Tiny Modern Furnished” by MaiaGupta.)

My sisters really are my rock through all the grieving. I’d like to think I’ve helped them too. Harper, my eldest sister, came by shortly after I moved all my stuff in and was clearly devastated by Mom’s passing… I know they’ve had their differences, but I was still a little shocked to see my stoic, together sister tear up.

Selfie time! (At this point I’d realized that I’d lost my glasses. Not an uncommon occurrence with me despite my “genius” status.) I feel like her visit today really solidified our relationship. Hazel’s upset that Harper took the lion’s share of our inheritance, but I get it-she is the heiress after all. Mom made it very clear to us that our heir/heiress should be the first born of each generation, provided they are deserving of it. Harper’s very competent and I’m certain Hazel will come around despite their sibling rivalry.

I’d been promoted to Ace Engineer (lv. 4) on my first day on my own-I should feel amazing, but losing both our parents… Yeah. Day 2 was all about clearing my head and taking somber walks around Newcrest.

On Day 3, I was delighted to get back in touch with my crush from high school, Mae Rhodes! She accepted my request to “pop by.” We caught up on so much that has happened since we last saw each other. Must’ve been at one of our birthday parties or kick-backs. I was promoted to Project Manager today too! (5) Huzzah!

Mae and I are becoming more and more inseparable each day! We have so much in common! This pic was taken at the new Stonelake Garden Park (by MasterofPuppits.) Our first kiss was electric! Here’s to hoping for many more!

We’re now officially partners! I now we’re moving fast, but you gotta in this world! Especially when you can share it with someone as amazing as Mae! She’s a Bro, Self-Assured, and Loves the Outdoors.

Day 4: It’s time to meet Mae’s mother and brother. Pictured here is Jarred Rhodes. He’s Mae’s teenage brother who is a Materlistic Slob. He seems alright though so far.

Shortly after, we were joined by Mae’s Mom, Leslie Rhodes. She’s Lazy, Squeamish, and a Perfectionist. She’s alright too. I didn’t know what to expect but they seem awesome!

I continued to converse with Ms. Rhodes and Mae when Harper spam texted me asking if she should accept Jamal Parihk’s engagement ring. She’d found it in his bag. I may or may not have had a hand in discouraging her from accepting his proposal… >.> She agreed because whether she’s aware of it or not, she’s still grieving. It feels nice to be the supportive sibling sometimes! Especially since she’s done so much for me!

We spent a few more hours at the Rhodes’ before heading back to my place where I asked her to move in… To my astonishment she said, “yes!” Whew! That felt like the longest few seconds ever! Here’s an interior view of the home. The car isn’t much, but should be upgraded soon enough! Oh! And we have a teeny-tiny octagonal pool in the back!

Mae gave herself a retro makeover. I remember admiring her for her dedication to sports in high school! I’m glad she hit it off with my sisters. They got along well enough in high school, but weren’t super close, so it’s nice to see them bonding! I wish Harper would put away her phone and be more present though… I know her business job is demanding though, but I digress…

That’s the end of my segment for now Folks! Thanks for tuning in and see you next time!

*Seriously, thank you all for reading again after several months and Happy Simming!
